What is Catalyst Benefits?
Catalyst Benefits is a reconstructed and pre-packaged 'unbundled' health plan solution that was really designed to bring large group benefits down to a small group level. In many of our conversations with our advisor partners throughout the country, they've consistently told us that they don't have the time, energy or resources to be able to do the 'unbundled' health plan solution for their small groups, because of that, we have developed the catalyst ecosystem, which allows us to bring the large group benefits down to a small to mid-size employer group level, really bringing better benefits to the members, all while in bringing control of their costs to the groups.
How is Catalyst Benefits different?
Catalyst Benefits is an innovative benefit design platform, really designed to bring transparency, pro-activeness and customization to employer groups of all sizes. Primarily, we focus on groups under a hundred but we've had a lot of success in bringing the NextGen and the Health Rosetta concepts downstream to the smaller group levels. We incorporate transparent TPAs, pass through PBMs, proper medical management, high cost and specialty medication carve-outs and the ability to write on either a PPO or a open reference-based pricing component. Bringing these small group programs benefits that are traditionally only available for large groups allows us to offer zero dollar deductibles, free or low cost medications and steerage to the highest quality providers.
Who is a good fit for Catalyst Benefits?
So we really focus on both groups and advisors in regards to our fits. For the groups, we've focused on groups of 5 to 250 enrolled. Groups that are ready to take an active management role in their plan and groups that are ready to bring better benefits to their employees with zero dollar deductibles and free to low cost medications. On the advisors side, we have a focus on advisors that are ready to leave behind the broker world and transform into true consultants or advisors. Advisors that are focused on transparency, cost containment and long-term strategies for their groups not just shopping on rates. We've primarily have a lot of success with advisors that focus on the Health Rosetta and NextGen principles inside their agencies.
